Happy 50th Birthday Caribbean

August 1962 ushered in the birth of one of the most vibrant and progressive regions in the world, the West Indies. In August 1962 both Jamaica (August 6th) and Trinidad and Tobago (August 31st) gained independence from Great Britain and became the first two independent states in the region.

These actions started the independence movement in the region with most of the other states following on from then in later years.

The identity of the region as well as much of what we know the Caribbean today started in August 1962.

We at neXt Level PoisonUK would like to celebrate the region that has given us life, prosperity, happiness, and a place that we all call home. For the rest of 2012 you will see our Happy 50th birthday Caribbean emblem on all of our events.

We look forward to you joining us as we celebrate this major milestone for the Caribbean.

Feel free to use the logo as well!
